ABOUT THE PAINT

You can rest assured that Fiesta Faces artists only ever use professional-quality face paint which is actually water-based theatrical make-up.  It is approved by both the EC and the American FDA for use on children´s skin. 

We never use acrylic or craft paint on anybody´s skin.  Normal paint contains toxic ingredients which could potentially cause allergic reactions and should never be used for face painting.

Because the paint is water-based, it is easily removed with mild soap and water.  I do not recommend the use of wet wipes as they can cause allergic reactions when used to remove face paint.  Some colours may leave a slight stain on the skin which will disappear after a few washes and is nothing to worry about.
