THE COMPANY
Fiesta Faces opened for business in July 2005 and provides face painting services for children´s parties, local fiestas, and corporate events throughout the North Costa Blanca area.
Our main face painter, Judith, is based in Oliva but is happy to travel to other locations throughout Valencia and Alicante provinces to cater for your needs.
She is a fully qualified beauty therapist and, in addition to training with internationally-known face & body artists, she has attended courses in glamour and stage make-up, and now also runs courses for new face painters.
Although specialising in children´s parties, she is available for almost any kind of event for which you would like face painting, including local fiestas; carnivals; Halloween; school and sports events; corporate events in bars, restaurants, hotels, shopping centres; fairs and markets; children´s parks; weddings, etc, etc.
Judith is also a photographer, specialising in portraiture and, if you wish, can also do a special birthday portrait of your child on the day.
Larger events requiring more than one painter can be catered for on request.
ABOUT THE PAINT
You can rest assured that Fiesta Faces artists only ever use professional-quality face paint which is actually water-based theatrical make-up. It is approved by both the EC and the American FDA for use on children´s skin.
We never use acrylic or craft paint on anybody´s skin. Normal paint contains toxic ingredients which could potentially cause allergic reactions and should never be used for face painting.
Because the paint is water-based, it is easily removed with mild soap and water. I do not recommend the use of wet wipes as they can cause allergic reactions when used to remove face paint. Some colours may leave a slight stain on the skin which will disappear after a few washes and is nothing to worry about.HEALTH & SAFETY
A professional code of practice regarding hygiene is adhered to.
Although the paints contain anti-bacterial agents, a clean sponge is used for every child and sponges and brushes are washed afterwards with anti-bacterial cleansers.
Please note, that if a child is suffering from any kind of allergic skin condition or has an infectious condition such as conjunctivitis or cold sores or an open cut, they cannot be painted although an arm design may be possible.
We will not paint children who are sleeping, who appear frightened by the process or who are unwilling.
We do not paint children under two years old. Infants generally have sensitive skin and cosmetic products are not recommended. They also do not understand what face painting is.

PRICES
Children's Parties
The price for the party includes taking a photo of each child painted. The photos will be sent to you in web size by email after the party and high resolution versions (suitable for printing) will be available to purchase for 5€ each.
- up to 2 hours = 65€ (minimum fee)
- 3 hours = 80€
- 4 hours = 95€
A small extra fee is payable for travel expenses if your event is outside Oliva eg:
- Denia/Gandia = 5€
- Cullera/Javea/Benitachell = 10€
- Benissa/Calpe = 15€
- Altea = 20€
- Benidorm = 25€
No travel expenses are charged if your event is within Oliva.
Each face takes around 5 to 8 minutes to paint depending on the complexity of the design. On average, 7 or 8 faces can be painted per hour. Please take this into account when working out your booking time.
BIRTHDAY PORTRAITS
If you would like a professional portrait taken of your birthday child (and yourselves!) before the party begins, this service is available for an additional 30€ which includes your 2 favourite photos from the shoot sent to you as high resolution files, ready for printing as many times as you want.

OTHER EVENTS
Rates for other kinds of events will vary depending on your individual needs. For example, if you require face or bodypainting designs to be made especially for your event; if special makeup needs to be ordered; and if your event is large and requires more than one painter.
